Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team. As a Scale Operator, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording the weights of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Manufacturing plant located in Lancaster needs a Scale operator. Shipping/receiving and forklift experience is required for this position. Must have excellent computer experience. 1st shift – 7:15am to 3:45pm – Monday- Friday – pay rate is $20.00 per hour to start. Must be detailed oriented, reliable, and flexible to change. Responsibilities;

Will direct forklift dock drivers what loads to pick up in the plant and place on trucks.

Ability to accurately read and record scale data.

Coordinating with plant manager the loading and unloading of trucks.

Responsible for the proper placement of materials received.

Immediate notification of weight or quality discrepancies to the plant manager.

Preparation of shipped goods in a timely manner as dictated by the freight schedule.
