General Mechanic - 1st shift - Lancaster, NY

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Mechanic to join our team. As a General Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and machinery. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Mechanic -Lancaster company - 1st shift - 7:15am-3:45pm - Monday-Friday - Salary - $25.00 per hour approximately depending on experience. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ General Mechanic experience. Must have steel toe boots. Responsibilities:

Should be capable of working in a fast-paced, medium to heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.

Hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of non-ferrous metal recycling machinery and all other duties as required. Must own basic set of functioning tools for general applications.

Skill set required:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs., able to perform routine bending, must maintain own set of tools,

Hands on mechanic able to diagnose and fix machinery and accept supervision.

Training requirements:

General safety rules including lockout/tagout.
