Work Schedule: Varied with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

8a-12p 12p-8p
Summary:
Greets, directs, and/or provides assistance to patients, family members, and visitors entering the facility in a friendly, courteous & professional manner. Answers telephones, routes calls to appropriate staff, takes accurate phone messages, and relays messages to staff. Provides basic clerical duties following established procedures as directed by supervisor.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
- A High School diploma or GED preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Prior customer service and/or receptionist experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language clearly
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions
- Excellent communication skills which may be inclusive of approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness and non-verbal communication
- Must have strong telephone skills and etiquette

- Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs
