Furniture Finisher

Key Responsibilities

• Formulation of colors using Akzo Noble Colorants and Coatings.
• Creation of new finishing techniques that are "production friendly".
• Must be able to do cerused, painted, and weathered finishes to match samples.
• Produce samples to match the designer's samples with short lead times.
• Research new finishing techniques.
• must be a self-starter and willing to work additional hours as required.
• confirm that the correct finish is applied, checking the paperwork for color and sheen. confirm that it matches the sample.
• maintain spray equipment and work with the finishing group to maintain the finishing spray department in accordance with our safety and federal guidelines. this includes proper tracking of material used.
• Drug-test required
• steel toe boots required

Position Requirements:

Experience: one-year minimum of furniture finishing experience
