Job Description:

Position Summary: The Entry-Level Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery in a medical device production environment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient and precise production of medical equipment that meets our high-quality standards.

Shifts are as follows:

• 1st shift, 7:55am-3:55pm, $16.50, Monday-Friday
• 2nd shift, 3:55pm-11:55pm, $18.00, Monday-Friday
• 3rd shift, 11:55pm-7:55am, $18.50, Sunday-Thursday

Responsibilities:

Machine Operation: Operate assigned manufacturing machines following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Setup and Calibration: Assist with machine setup and calibration, ensuring machines are properly configured for specific production runs.

Quality Control: Monitor production processes and inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications. Report any deviations or issues to supervisors.

Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, oiling, and minor repairs as directed.

Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and log all machine-related data as required.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.

Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and troubleshooting machine malfunctions or errors, and work with maintenance personnel to resolve issues.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow and meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior machine operating experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control interface.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
